Positive Psychology & PBIS

The aim of positive psychology is to build upon strengths and virtues to promote joy, success, character, resilience and growth. Dr. Rob Daniels trains families, schools, and other community and private organizations how to implement proven, effective, positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS). These practical solutions incorporate humor and creativity to improve social-emotional interactions and learning.

Children who receive evidence-based positive psychology interventions are 20-40 percent less likely to ever experience a major depressive episode, and are less likely to experience Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder in the future, even if they endure events that are considered deeply traumatizing (Seligman, 2011). Dr. Rob Daniels collaborates with school districts to ensure that they meet and exceed standards for excellence in general and special education.
